This single cylinder deadbolt is fashioned from smooth iron with a classic flat black finish, reminiscent of Early American ironwork.
The deadbolt is opened by key on one side and by thumbturn on the other, and is reversible for use with left- or right-hand doors without cylinder assembly removal. For extra security, a cylinder guard is included that prevents wrenching from the door, while a hardened pin prevents cutting through the bolt. Tiebolt construction secures deadbolt into a single unit.
- For door thickness between 1-3/8" and 1¾"
- For 2-1/8" crossbores and 1" edgebore
- Fits both 2-3/8" and 2¾" standard backsets
- Cylinder made from solid brass, with five-pin tumbler, nickel-plated silver pins, 1" deadbolt throw, and Schlage type-C keyway
