I hung this fixture close to the ceiling (I used 1 chain link)over my 6 ft farm table and it looks awesome! If I had a kitchen island, I would have done the same. The quality is higher that I expected based upon the very affordable price. WIth free shipping and no tax, it's not worth my time going to the store. I have already purchased 2 more fixtures for the hallway.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I put 2 of these lights in my kitchen over the table. Had many complements from neighbors. The price was great. Got my idea from Pottery Barn but paid half of what they wanted.

I do love my new foyer lamp. The color of the metal is grey bronze and so it goes perfectly with my Pottery Barn chandelier which is bronze. Very nice style but smaller than I visualized. Perfect for a smaller foyer or 2 or 3 hanging over a table.

  • Q: Length - is that from the chain or is that the overall size of the fixture?

    A: This fixture mesures 22" from the bottom of the glass to the top of the top ring not including the chain. Total length avaible is 96" but this can be mounted as a semi flush fixture also.
